Survival of the fittest.....survival of the heartless.....or just plain survival....?

What difference does it make; they%26#039;re all survival aren%26#039;t they!!!!?

On a serious note, contrast the difference.
Survival of the fittest.....survival of the heartless.....or just plain survival....?
The smartest is the one that beats them all.
Survival of the fittest.....survival of the heartless.....or just plain survival....?
Being fittest doesn%26#039;t necessarily mean heartless. People may come across as ruthless and remorse free in their persuasion of their goals however it could be a demanding case of the time.

I would rather put it as impartial.
Reply:I think the heartless seem to come out ahead all the time which pisses me off. Those who only care about themselves and will step on anyone and everyone who gets in their way. The fittest is the one who tries to always be prepared for everything by education, financial preparation, trust in their religion. Plain survival (like I feel I%26#039;m only doing right now which is down from being the fittest, lol) just plugging along trying to keep from continually being knocked down, doing the best you can but not really getting anywhere sometimes wondering why the hell you even bother.
Reply:What ancient nation is still with us today that survived?

What man that has lived his life has survived up to this day?

None save One!

Jesus the Christ the son of God Almighty!

King of Kings and Lord of Lords

So If you stand with the winning team how then can you not survive?

Luk 9:50

And Jesus said unto him, Forbid [him] not: for he that is not against us is for us.

Rom 8:31

What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us?
Reply:%26quot;Survival of the fittest%26quot; is a redundant phrase. Fitness just means having the right stuff to deal with the situation at hand. Could mean heartlessness, or could mean compassion, or anything in between.

Survival of the fittest seems %26quot;ruthless%26quot; but really, what%26#039;s interpreted as ruthless is the reality of competition, the fact that some survive and some die... fittest does not mean %26quot;best%26quot; at all, it%26#039;s not like saying if you%26#039;re not %26quot;good%26quot; enough you die. It%26#039;s just a matter of if you have what the environment favors, and the environment has no agenda.

Just plain survival, without regard to fitness, doesn%26#039;t happen ... as long as there is competition, someone will survive, and by definition they are the %26quot;fittest.%26quot;
Reply:Depends on what you%26#039;re surviving. If it is life (i.e. living), then I%26#039;ll go with survival of the fittest.
Reply:Survival of the fittest doesn%26#039;t mean %26quot;survival of the most physically fit%26quot;, it means %26quot;survival of the ones best adapted to the surrounding environment.%26quot;

So, survival of the fittest and survival of the heartless could easily be the same exact thing, if being heartless was the best way to pass on your genes in a given environment.
Reply:Survival of the fittest is a society with no welfare system, long term care, special care nurseries or disability care. This is a place where the intrinsic value of the individual doesn%26#039;t exist. Brute force (could mean physically, mentally, or weapons potential) would dominate and blot out creative potential or intellectual development. Some of our greatest thinking and works of music and art have been achieved by those with crippled bodies. Their minds having been their only reliable tool.

This would be wiped out. Ultimately a darwinistic society would be a society of psychopaths.

Survival, on the other hand, would incorporate the strengths and potentials of a variety contributions. That society would be able to incorporate charity into their system as it would enhance the loyalty of its members.

In a mercenary system you have no reason for loyalty and expect none in return. Cooperation would only exist if both sides saw immediate profit.

Hope this helps. I think I%26#039;ll go and hug my family now!
