I live in the same town, the same neighborhood, and even the same house in which I was raised. Lately I have been questioning so many of the %26quot;truths%26quot; that I had once believed to be true; yet, I am gradually discovering some aspects about my life and the lives of my family members that have opened my eyes to a life once covered with the blinders of love and ignorance. Yet the blinders made me feel adequate. But now that I accept the many truths that were once cloaked with the lack of knowledge, I find myself sadder than before I knew the truth.
Is the truth really more unkind than what one might have wanted the truth to be?
What is better: the truths of unhappiness, or the untruths of happiness?
happiness has nothing to do with truth believe me!!
what you have experienced is natural and happens quite often to anyone.
I grew up to find out that most of what I was thinking and what I know about the members of my family, neighbors are different realities. some are shocking and I learnt to deal with it. when a truth is uncovered, there is no need to wonder whether or not you should have known about it. you may not for example accept the fact that a truth is kept away from you. it%26#039;s a question of human nature. we are curious by nature and we tend to know the truth.
There is no truth for me, there are facts, events and choices in life that we have either to accept and move on , or not accept and keep struggeling. It may seem idealistic but it%26#039;s simply %26quot;the truth%26quot;.
see what I mean?
peace!

What is better: the truths of unhappiness, or the untruths of happiness?
Life is rarely sad, it is our frame of mind and temperament that is temporarily low and feeling miserable and seeing misery and wretchedness in all things. Enlightenment brings reason and understanding not only of the erring of people about us, but the reasoning behind why they act and respond in the way that they do.
Understanding the limitations and behavioural patterns of men and why they think, act and react in a particular way is truth, all else is mood swings and bad days. The truth is always simple and beautiful. If it does not seem so, it is because you have not gained full and complete understanding.
Reply:The truth itself does not give us sadness. Truth is Truth. the way we react to it alone gives us an emotion. deeper we comprehend the truth, more control we will have on our emotions.
also, once you know the truth you can%26#039;t lie to yourself any more. so there in no turning back but stepping forwards.
Truth is not unkind,
if truth is wisdom.
Reply:the real truth can be completely depressing as you think of it in terms of the old way. Once you truly accept the truth with all of it%26#039;s ramifications, you see that it can be very liberating.
Literally liek the matrix, the blinders can be comfortable, but stil false.
