What is the key to finding genuine happiness?
i believe the first step is being truly happy with who you are.
What is the key to finding genuine happiness?

Reply:What I have recognised recently is that happiness lies in self acceptance. Be happy with who you are and everything seems so much easier than hating yourself.
Reply:The key to finding genuine happiness is not actually looking for it or finding it. It%26#039;s something that will come to you when you least expect it to. Genuine happiness you should already have because im sure you have your family and things in life that make you happy. If you are pertaining genuine happiness as in relationships then thats something you have to wait for, no one should ever look for love it just happens.
Reply:a Buddhist would say that everyone needs three things to be complete:

something to do

something to love

and something to hope for

Avoid extremes and overwhelming desire and try to find peace. Everyone seems to be very concerned with happiness these days. Happiness is more of a western construction and I%26#039;m not sure if one can live with this emotion all the time. Contentment maybe
Reply:Genuine happiness comes from within.

First, you need to recognize the fact that you are responsible for all of your thoughts, words, deeds and emotions.

Second, happiness comes from knowing yourself, loving yourself and being satisfied in whatever situation you find yourself.

Third, genuine happiness comes from learning from the past and not allowing yourself to dwell in the past. It%26#039;s all right to remember, but too many people live in the %26quot;I should have%26#039;s%26quot; and %26quot;if only I would have%26#039;s%26quot; and %26quot;why didn%26#039;t I say.%26quot;

The past is the past, you cannot change it, but you can learn from it. Whether from your own mistakes or from the mistakes of others, there is always a lesson to be learned.

Fourth, learn to enjoy your life.

Fifth, learn to %26quot;live%26quot; positively! This goes back to #1: live positively through your thoughts, words, actions and emotions staying as positively as you will allow them to be.
Reply:You only think about finding happiness when you are wishing you could be doing something else, being somewhere else or being with someone else. When you are 100% involved in your life you never think %26quot;Am I happy now?%26quot; So the key is to be intense and passionate about everything you do. Whether you like doing it or not, do it with utmost involvement and dedication. Then each moment of your life will be pure joy.
Reply:I believe that %26quot;Genuine Happiness%26quot; means different things to different indiviuals. I think happiness, is all about knowing who you are as a person, and in knowing that, one must take a step forward to make themselves a better person. Also knowing what you want in life is very important. The pursuit for happiness is something we all tend to search for.
